Mike graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1964. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated from The OSU College of Dentistry in 1971. After graduation, Mike served his country for 2 years as a captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corp. He returned to The OSU College of Dentistry and dedicated the next 33 years to teaching.
Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Beck; and his son, Christopher Beck.
Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221, where a visitation will follow until 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center in memory of Mike’s love of cats, including the two he adopted from the Cozy Cat Cottage.
