

Frank W. “Bill” Brumfield DDS., age 76, of Worthington, passed away at home on October 21, 2012, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for the past 4 ½ years. He was born to the late Harry and Vivian Brumfield on September 19, 1936 in Toledo, OH. Bill was described by friends and family as “the finest man you’d ever meet.” He had a great sense of humor, loved animals, and enjoyed many activities such as golfing, sailing, photography, and travel. Bill was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church. He graduated from Mansfield Senior
High School in 1954 & The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1961. He taught at The Ohio State University for over 30 years. An Assistant Professor Emeritus of The College of Dentistry Department of Periodontology, he also taught part time at Columbus State and held a private practice. Bill was a proud Colonel USAF Retiree with 30 years of dedicated service. In his last years, he was Commander 121st Medical Hospital Rickenbacker, OH ANG Base. He was also a very active member in professional and military organizations. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Richard and Joseph Brumfield. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Paula; children, William H. (Jodell) Brumfield, Timothy E. Brumfield, DeAnne E. Brumfield, Stephanie L. O’Harra, Elizabeth A. (John) Stanton; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Friends may call from 5pm-8pm on Thursday October 25, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High St. Worthington, OH.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 26, 2012 at All Saints Lutheran Church 6770 N High St., Worthington, OH 43085, with a visitation from 9:30am until time of service. Pastor Bonnie Gerber officiating.
