

Fred L. Hall, 102, of Upper Arlington, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He was born October 19, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio. Fred served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired as the Battalion Commander of the Naval Reserves of Columbus. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and retired from Buckeye Steel Castings.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Norine Isabelle Hall; parents; one brother; one sister; one nephew; granddaughters, Lori Lee Reynolds and Kimberly Sue Hall; and son-in-law, Richard Brown.
Fred will be missed by his wife, Marcia Hall; son, Sid (Nancy) Hall; daughter, Lynne Brown; grandchildren, Shelley (Steve) Scherer, Scott (Ronda) Hall, Keith (Christine) Brown, Kevin (Stacy) Brown, Teresa (Patrick) Hodges; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; niece, Jeri (Frank) DeTillio; and nephew, Jim (Jane) Hall.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:30 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43212. Rev. Philip Brooks officiating
