Freidan Paul Wolfe

Freidan P. Wolfe, 77 of Columbus, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at home in the presence of his loving wife, Marjorie (Mencer) Wolfe whom he married April 30, 1964. He was born January 10, 1936 and grew up in Lima, OH and graduated from Cridersville High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Japan, a member of Northwest Chapel Grace Brethren Church and retired after 45 years with Buckeye Pipeline. He is preceded in death by his parents Smiley and Azuba (Blodgett) Wolfe, two sons Paul and Christopher, sister Azuba Meffley and step sister Ruth. In addition to his wife Marjorie, he is survived by his son Adam (Jill) Wolfe, siblings Ellen, Smiley, Susie, Harriett, Gretchen, Nancy and Martha, three granddaughters Carrie, Cassie and Whitney, great grandson "Johnny" and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the caregivers at the VA in Columbus for their loving care. Family will receive friends Friday from 4-7 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Northwest Chapel, 6700 Rings Rd. Burial will follow in St. Matthews Cemetery, Cridersville at 2 PM.
