Garnet Marie Phipps

Garnet Marie Phipps, age 79, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Garnet was born on August 15, 1930 in Lucasville, Ohio; she was the daughter of the late Jefferson and Ida Eviline Pigg. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Kelly; and 2 brothers, Don and Bud. She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah and Tina; many dear nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Sparky and many “grandcats”. She was a member of Linden Lutheran Church for over 40 years. Garnet enjoyed her $2 penny poker games, romance novels and gardening. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229; where funeral services will be at 10am on Thursday, May 20, 2010.
