Garrett Oliver Sayre

Garrett Oliver Sayre, age 5, of Columbus, passed away on February 12, 2022. He was born in Columbus on July 30, 2016 to Jasen and Melissa (Gallagher) Sayre. Garrett was preceded in death by great grandpa Ed Edmonds, and grandpa Tim Gallagher.

Garrett will be remembered as a little sweetheart who was always crazy happy. He was a carefree angel and loved superheroes, especially Spiderman. Garrett loved playing video games with his brothers, going to the park and swimming. He loved to be complimented on how nice he looked. He was so sincere.

Garrett will be missed by his loving parents, Jasen and Melissa Sayre; his brothers Aiden, Collin and Grayson; grandparents Jill Gallagher, Kayla Thomas, Mike Sayre and Jeanne Cox; great-grandparents, Betty Edmonds and Jack and Ruth Sayre; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4-7pm at Stonybrook Church, 485 Cherry Bottom Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. A funeral service will take place Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10am at the church. Interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery, 218 Agler Rd, Columbus, OH 43230.
