Garth Dale Whitten

Garth Dale Whitten, age 55 of Lynchburg, OH, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, OH. Garth was born in Madeira, OH on January 23, 1958, the son of Elnora Jean (Roberts) and William Garth Whitten. Garth was a welder for Steam Systems, Inc. He lived his dream of designing and building his log home with his own bare hands. He was a hard worker and loved his family as well as all animals. He had a strong cowboy spirit. Garth was a member of the Highland County Archeological Society. Garth is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Annette M. Whitten; his children Amanda Nichole (Matt) Lauver, Adam Garth (Chandin) Whitten and Alex Dale (Ariane) Whitten; grandchildren Brandon Lauver, Bella Whitten, Macy Whitten and Kaidyn Lauver; siblings Larry (Barbara) Whitten, Tracy (Sherry) Whitten and Valerie Cornwell. A private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, OH with Father David Sunberg officiating.
