Gary Lee Kennedy, age 51, of Whitehall, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2014 while hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Kennedy; and sister, Carolyn Burgess. He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Kennedy; children, Tara Kennedy, Gary (Karen Rushia) Kennedy, and Amber (Mike) Howard; step-son, Ryan Johnson; grandchildren, Lee, Darren, Mckensie, and Ethan; father, Lawrence (Lottie) Kennedy; sister, Georgia (Mike) Howard; his best friend who was like a brother, Don Martin; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Columbus Cathedral Church of God, 908 Whitethorne Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43223. Pastor Chris Gillum officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 614-861-6268. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gary's family to assist with funeral expenses.
