After raising her 6 children, Gen enjoyed working as a banquet server for various venues throughout Columbus. Also longtime member of Blendon Township SR Center Craft Guild. Crafting was not only a hobby for Gen, it was her passion, as well as bargain shopping. She continued to craft until the very end. She loved her home, and was happiest in her kitchen cooking for all her family and friends. Gen loved her friends fiercely, some of whom were lifelong. She continued to make even more while living at The Grand of Dublin for the last five years. Gen was greatly loved not only by her husband and family, but by everyone who met her. She was kind and loving, fun and funny, beautiful and glamorous, always fashionable and stylish. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, and friends with all of her heart. All those who had the joy of receiving that love and reciprocating it will feel an immense loss but will have wonderful memories of her love, her voice, her food, her humor, and her laughter.
