George Michael Canfield

George Michael Canfield, age 23, died as the result of an accident on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Whitehall, OH. He was born October 10, 1987 in Columbus, OH and attended Cardington-Lincoln High School. George had a great sense of humor and made people laugh. He always enjoyed playing basketball and playing around with the kids. He will be missed by many who loved him, yet respected his free spirit. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Geroge Canfield; grandmothers, Robbie “Nanny” Canfield and Pauline Ellshoff. Survived by his mother, Margaret Canfield; father, George Lee Canfield, Jr. (Marilyn); sisters, Joycela “Joy” Fenwick (Scott), Jackie Canfield (Ron), Kim Carson; brothers, Tommy L. Carson; Harry “Pepper” Thornton and Chris Thornton. Aunts; Margaret Canfield and Rita Knadler; nieces and nephews, Jordan “Scotty” Fenwick, Kaycee Fenwick and Katie Fenwick, Paul “P.J.” Copeland, Alyssa Heimlich; cousins, Aaron Knadler, Shelly Dewart, Courtney White, Danielle Tisdale, Donald Joesph “D.J” Knadler, Taylor Knadler, and Tiffany Knadler; many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4701 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232 with Pastor Tony Liuzzo, officiating.
