George Alfred Fox

George Alfred Fox, Jr, age 94, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 at Danbury Senior Living in Westerville, Ohio. He was born February 9, 1927 in Haverstraw, New York to the late George Alfred and Caroline (Stutzman) Fox, Sr. George was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, a World War 2 veteran and served in the U.S. military faithfully for 24 years. He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Barbara Elaine (Knox) Fox as well as his brother Edward M. Fox. George is survived by his children Carol Dore’, Bob (Tracy) Fox, Laura Fox, Nancy (Bruce) Spiler, Jennifer (Tim) Jackson as well as grandchildren Amanda, Audrey, Joe, Nick, and Will. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held February 5. 2022 at 11:00am at Church of the Messiah; 51 North State Street; Westerville, Ohio 43081. A private internment will be held at the U.S. Naval Academy Columbarium on May 20, 2022. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER Worthington.
