George Daniel Goehring Jr., lovingly referred to as Dan, passed peacefully on November 11th, 2016 at his home in Gahanna, Ohio. As a devoted teacher at The Columbus Academy for 30 years, Dan has shaped the minds of the brightest individuals in the country and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his brother, David; his niece, Erin; his nephew, Justin; his parents-in-law, Mary and Phil Pfeiffer; his ex-wife, Jennifer; his son-in-law, Casey; and his daughter and best friend, Ashley. Services will take place at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna with Visitation from 3:30 - 5:00 pm and a Celebration of Life at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th. Cowboy boots are suggested, but not required. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Dan Goehring's name be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Rebel.
