

George M. Hare Sr., age 80, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2010. He was born in Orient, Ohio on December 19, 1929 to Lloyd and Lucinda McGhee Hare. George was outgoing and had a great sense of humor. He loved to restore old tractors and going fishing. He was a member of Kingston Lodge 624 F&AM, Circleville Lodge 23 F&AM, and the Aladdin Shrine. George was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Frances Hollenback and Lois Timmons. He spent his last years with the love of his life, his wife, Jeannette, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Janice (Joe) Keaton, Loretta Kohman, Teresa (Rick) Acord, George Hare Jr., and Charlie Watson of Arizona; step children, Ron Williamson of Nevada, Deborah (Chuck) Engelman of Chillicothe, Sandy Gentry of Circleville, and Bernita (Jamie) Cottrell of Williamsport; brothers, Bob (Janice) Hare and Jim Hare; sisters, Kathleen (Joe) Roberts, Janet (Gene) Monst, and Linda (Bob) Spangler; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 pm Thursday, March 18, 2010. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jackson Twp. Cemetery.
