George C. Vertikoff

George C. Vertikoff, age 62, of Columbus, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born in Tunisia on January 5, 1954, son of Nicolas Vertikoff and Irene (Metevsky) Vertikoff. George was a 1972 graduate of Columbus North High School and received a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. He is survived by his son, Paul (Paula) Vertikoff; grandsons, Nicolas and Michael Vertikoff; mother, Irene Vertikoff and brother, Alexander (Nora) Vertikoff; nephew, Cole Vertikoff; niece; Carmen Vertikoff; other relatives and many friends. Besides his father, George was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Irene Metevsky. George loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandsons playing at their baseball and basketball games. Private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL1740 Zollinger Rd.
