

Georgia A. Drenning, age 91, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, June 9, 2025. Born on September 24, 1933, in Waterloo, Ohio, to George and Evelyn Miller, Georgia lived a life marked by love, service, and adventure. She worked diligently for many years at General Motors before retiring, and in her retirement, she enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and traveling the world.
Georgia was deeply committed to her community, dedicating 25 years of volunteer service to the American Red Cross and 30 years to CAPA. She cherished her home, where she lived for 66 years, filling it with memories and love. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Drenning; son, Robert Jr.; grandchildren, Duston and Jama; son-in-law, Bill Walker and special companion, Jim Humphrey.
She is survived by her children: Juanita Walker, Gwendolyn Drenning (Mike), Debra (Kevin) Kelly, Richard Drenning, and Randal Drenning; grandchildren: William, Mike, Lanee, Shawn, Mark, Rick, Bobby, Shane, Tommy, David, and Danial; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger – Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross in her memory.
