Geraldine A. Wood

Geraldine Wood, 92, born in Marquette, Michigan, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The matriarch of 5 generations, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, went to be with our Lord on January 28, 2011. She will be sorely missed by her husband of 70 years, Vernon; daughters, Janet Miller (husband, Jeff) Mary Wayman (husband, Rick); grandsons, Bill Miller and Andrew Miller; great grandsons, Geoffrey Miller (Bridgett Hoban) and Andrew Miller, Jr; great great grandson, James Miller; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother, Mary Ellen Greenleaf, father, Andrew Greenleaf, and sisters, Marie Brennen and Evelyn Anderson. Her smiles, great sense of humor, and amazing fortitude will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until time of service. Entombment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Father Patrick Rogers officiating.
