

Gio was gone from us too soon, but his fighting spirit remains with us. The odds were against him from the beginning, but he clung to life. The nurses tried to keep this little man contained in bunting like the womb, but he kept kicking his feet out and punched his arms out. One day he was so feisty, he pulled out his breathing tube! But the day we'll most remember is the day he opened his eyes. Those eyes! He would look at you as though he could see into your very soul.
In addition to his parents, Giovanni will be greatly missed by his brothers; Joshua and Mason Orcutt, sister; Aleaha Orcutt, grandparents; Angie Blackburn, Bart (Tammy) Orcutt, Michael (Cathy) Monteiro, god parents; Emily Morse and Brett Esselstein; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on August 31 at St Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville Ohio at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
