She was born on February 25, 1979 in Lima, Peru to Maria Deidamia Diaz Dumont and Guillermo Teves Rivas of Chorillos, Lima, Peru. She will be greatly missed by her parents, her brother Guillermo (Claudia) and her sister, Lourdes; as well as many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
Giuliana received her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2000. She provided nutritional guidance to many indigent families in remote parts of Peru.
She joined Nestle Peru in 2006 as a nutritional specialist. She then transitioned into the Regulatory and Scientific Affairs team in 2011 as part of the Peru and Bolivian market. In 2016 she moved to the Marysville Research and Development Center, where she made a home for herself. She was also enrolled in Graduate School at Michigan State University, pursuing a JSD.
Giuliana will be remembered fondly for her ever-present smile, her positive outlook on life and her kindness; even to the end she was more concerned about the welfare of others than for herself.
She was passionate about her faith, her work, and her loving dogs, Blacky, Charlie, and Dora, all of whom she rescued in Peru and brought with her here. Another passion was traveling to experience new places, new cultures. She traveled to many exciting places around the world and here in Ohio spent weekends exploring nearby parks and cities with her dogs and friends.
