Gladys Mary Butts

Gladys Mary Butts, 76, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born February 2, 1941 in Fullerton, Kentucky to the late Willard and Martha (Brown) Morman. She was a 1959 graduate of South High School and worked for Advest Group Brokerage Firm in Columbus for many years. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and dancer. She has always enjoyed shopping, sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Morman. Gladys is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard "Dick" Butts; son, David (Lisa) Butts; grandchildren, Caitlyn (Tony) Ewing, Andrew Butts, Ryan Butts, and Michelle Butts; great-grandchildren, Brody and Tinsley Ewing; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway. Father Dan Millisor Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
