Gladys Mary Moorehead

Gladys M. Moorehead, age 68, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born on September 6, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late Lloyd A. and Esther B. (Burke) Moorehead. Gladys graduated in 1965 from Corcoran High School. She was employed at First Trust Bank in NY before she retired from Nationwide Insurance Company after 36 years of service. Gladys was a member of Unity East Church in Pickerington for which she was instrumental in establishing and developing through her dedication as a Board Member, Youth Leader, and Treasurer. She enjoyed many sports including golf, basketball, volleyball, and bowling. Her beautiful smile and vivacious spirit will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Ernest Moorehead of GA and sisters, Emily Jane Williams of NY and Teri L. Wilson of OH. She is survived by her siblings, Mariette Williams of FL, John (Marguerite) Moorehead, Ann (Michael) Binder both of NY, Ella Schulz, Traci L. and Collin McCue of Reynoldsburg, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Family will receive friends 2:30 pm-3:30 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the memorial service will begin at 3:30 pm.
