Glen E. Wilson, 99, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on April 23, 1918 to the late Daniel and Emma (Lower) Wilson. Glen was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was a faithful Jehovah's Witness. He was also a widely known and loved Jazz musician in Columbus and was inducted into the Columbus Senior Musicians Hall of Fame. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; and son, Douglas N. Wilson. He is survived by his children, Dan D. (Shari) Wilson, and Melody (Morgan) Wilson Varga; and grandchildren Nicole Christine Varga and Istvan Glen Varga. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 4-8pm at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11am at the same location. Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
