Glenn H. Bradford

Glenn H. Bradford, Sr., age 75 of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. Glenn was born and raised in West Virginia, son of the Late Dixie Bradford. Following high school, Glenn proudly enlisted with the U.S. Army where he served during the Korean Conflict. He was a certified Sharp Shooter and received the medal for Good Conduct. He retired as a Teamster Driver. Glenn was a truly funny man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was laid back, enjoyed NASCAR, and was always thankful for what he had in life. Spending time with family, laughing, joking, and simply being together was what Glenn cherished most. He will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen; sons, Glenn Jr., Mark, and Toney (Carma Burgess) Bradford; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica), Heather (Skip) Ivery, and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Haileigh and Madison; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday. Interment at Jersey Township Cemetery.
