Gloria Faye Capparuccini

Gloria Faye Capparuccini (Brown), age 86 of Gahanna passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was born in Moxahala, Ohio on November 16, 1925 to the late Dwight and Hattie Brown. She was a courageous woman who beat lung and brain cancer in 2005. She retired from the restaurant business. She loved her family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Going to the casino and playing the slots was one of her favorite things to do. We will miss her dearly. Special thanks to Dr. Washington, Traditions and InCare Hospice for the wonderful and loving care she received. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James “Cap”; her infant brother; brother, Dick Brown. She is survived by her children, Linda (Dick) Banks, Dennis Capparuccini, Mark (Donna) Capparuccini, and Marsha (Dave) Reynolds; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Montgomery and Aileen Willison; sister-in-law, Jane Brown and many extended family members. Friends may call from 3-7 pm, Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd) Gahanna where the Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, April 23, 2012. Rev. David Redding officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
