Glynna M. Dugger

Glynna M. (Estes) Dugger, 82, of Hilliard, Ohio was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 3, 2010. We rejoice in the knowledge that she is now with her Lord and Savior whom she faithfully served since she was twelve years old. Glynna was a member of The Potter’s House Church of God where she served the Lord in the children’s ministry and “Feed My Sheep” homeless ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dugger with whom she shared forty-nine years filled with God’s many blessings. Together they raised five daughters who gave them the gift of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by her beloved parents, Glenn and Virginia Estes; brother, Richard Estes; and sister, Mary Lou Coleman. Glynna is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Shirlee Johnson of Hilliard, Ohio, Sharon (John) Jacobs of Logan, Ohio, Cynthia (Daniel) Doody of Deltona, Florida, Lisa Marx of London, Ohio, and Laurie (Gary) Hickman of Orient, Ohio; cherished grandson, Travis Jacobs; beautiful granddaughters, Amanda (Andrew) Nichols, Carrie Doody, Kristen Bachie, Sarah Johnson, Anna Marx, Megan and Melissa Hickman; great-grandsons, Hunter McIntosh and Isaiah Bachie. She is also survived by extended family, friends, and her Little Lambs (students). The family will receive those who would like to honor Glynna from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 and 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service “Homecoming Celebration” at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad St. Pastor Tim Oldfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Glynna had a love and compassion for children and teaching them about Jesus. She served as a Sunday School/Children’s Church teacher for more than sixty years. In light of Glynna’s great love for children, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the children’s orphanage, Destiny Village – Haiti c/o The Potter’s House Church of God, 3220 Lowell Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43204.
