

Godfrey D. “Buddy” McFadden, Jr. age 63, died Thursday, May 3, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Godfrey D. “Bud” Sr. and Rudy O. McFadden, brothers Kenneth and Bill, nephew Nicholas. Survived by loving wife Judy, son Godfrey D. “Bucky” McFadden III, sisters Joyce (Jim) Broskie and Theresa (Don) Hollis, grandchildren, Skylar, Emily, Jayce, Alisyn and Autumn, mother-in-law Georgana Popp, many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Kathy McFadden Birtcher, best friend Linda McFadden and his dog Jaz, many, many friends. He was a graduate of Mifflin High School, retired from National Electric Coil, member of Lake Erie Sports Fisherman Association and Ohio Charter Boat Association. Buddy was an avid sportsman having hunted both small and large game, including deer, elk and bear. Captain Buddy McFadden was a U.S.C.G. licensed guide and owner/operator of the “Ruby O” Fishing Charter Service on Lake Erie in Marblehead, OH. He was also a professional drummer having played in early R&R bands including The Storms and The Time Bombs. He was a gun, Corvette and Nascar enthusiast and a fan of the Buckeyes. Buddy lived his life to the fullest. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed. Family and friends may call from 10 AM – 1 PM Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
