Grace E. Mann, age 93, went home to be with the lord on August 18, 2012. She was born on February 23, 1919. Her husband of 63 years, Russell K. Mann and daughter, Gayle Beachum precede her in death. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker. During WWII, she was employed at Curtiss Wright as a “Rosie the Riveter”. Survived by her sister, Marjorie Lawson, her daughters, Jacqueline Mann, Rosalyn (William) Homes, and Alycia Mann; sons, Jerry and Larry Mann; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Mt. Vernon A.M. E. Church, 1127 Mount Vernon Ave., Columbus.
