Grace Vissers

Grace Vissers, peacefully entered eternal life on January 23, 2021, surrounded by family. Grace was born on January 19, 1932, the daughter of Eugene and Minnie Tellock (Schenk). Grace met her beloved husband Bob in high school. They were happily married for 66 years and together raised their four children, Valerie Scarpace (Salvatore), Steven (Renata), Susan Holiday (Bob), and Dawn Marietti (Ron).

Grace was a fabulous homemaker who also held a variety of positions in the private sector. Grace and Bob raised their children in New Berlin, Wisconsin, later retiring to Wittenberg, Wisconsin. They subsequently moved to Dublin, Ohio to be closer to their daughter Dawn, and her family. Grace and Bob shared many wonderful life adventures together. Grace was an extrovert who loved spending time with her family, hosting many holiday celebrations, and informal gatherings. Their home was often filled with laughter - especially at Christmas, with the "decking of the halls", the making of eggnog, and sharing of gifts. Grace is survived by her four children; grandchildren Angi (Matt) Mulcahy, Melonie Marietti, Jason (Janel) Vissers, Michelle (Joe) Hoell, Jon (fiancee Jenna) Vissers, Matt Vissers, Whitney Marietti, and Robbie Marietti. Additionally, Grace leaves behind great grandchildren Logan, Dominic, Marisa, JT, Landon, Ella, Jocelyn, Vance, Veronica, Gabrielle, Noah and Jenni; sisters-in-law Verna Tellock (Edward), and MaryAnn Vissers (Donald); along with many nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob; her parents; grandchildren Becky and Timmy Heaton; as well as brothers and sisters. The family wishes to thank The Sanctuary staff members in Dublin, Ohio for their care and support. A celebration of life service for immediate family will be held at a future date. SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
