Gregory Jones

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara Jones, children; Lindsey Jones, Brandi (Jeremy) Camren, and Adam Jones, step-children; Jasmine Pearson and Daniel Pearson, grandchildren; Evan, Mason, Emily, Aiden, Amelia, Elliette and Hadley, mother, Rose Jones, siblings; Cindy (Russ) Mitzel, Doug (Sandy) Jones, Tom (Krystal) Jones, and Paul (Tammy) Jones, best friend, Charlie Parker, and furry friends; Jonsie, Gizmo, Smoke and Lil Bit, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other dear family and friends.

Greg is preceded in death by father, Clifford Jones, brother, Daniel Jones, and niece, Courtney Sherfy Jones.

Greg graduated from Granite City South High School, Class of 1979. He had a deep passion for motorcycles and especially loved his royal blue Harley-Davidson. Some of his happiest moments were spent riding with his friends and enjoying the freedom of the open road. Greg deeply loved his wife and family, and spending time with them meant the world to him. He also enjoyed listening to music, mudding, and monster trucks. Greg brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2-5PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Please share condolences or memories with Greg’s family.
