

Gregory Lee Ledbetter, 67, of Canal Winchester, OH, journeyed home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, September 19th, 2021. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his devoted family. Born in Dayton, OH, on November 20, 1953, he attended Kiser High School where he excelled in sports, lettering in basketball, baseball, football, and track, before continuing on to Wright State University.
After retiring from a lengthy career in printing, Greg worked at the Gahanna Golf Course, played countless rounds of golf, and touched many lives as a youth baseball coach, specializing in pitching instruction. He was a Patriot who loved God, his family, the Buckeyes, and never knew a stranger, making friends wherever he went.
Greg is preceded in passing by parents, Henry and Bonnie Ledbetter. His memory is survived by the love of his life and wife of forty-three years, Marilyn "Kay"; siblings Cheryl (Bill) Fahrig and Cindy Ledbetter; children Timothy (Julie) McWhorter, Erin (Ricky) Wardell, and Fernando Ledbetter; grandchildren Austin, Alex, Emma, Abby, Amelia, and Aiden; and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather from noon until 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 26th, 2021, with a service to celebrate this wonderful man's life beginning at 2:00 pm. Both services will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
