Gregory Josef Sheets

Gregory J. Sheets, age 56, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was born in Gallipolis, OH on August 3, 1958. Greg graduated from Groveport High School in 1977 and attended Capital University. He was a dedicated employee at Mount Carmel Corporate Services Center for 34 years. Over the years, Greg enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching OSU sports, and spending time with his nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherley Edward Sheets. Greg is survived by his mother, Janette H. Sheets; brother and sister-in-law, Ted (Barbara) Sheets; nephews, Theodore, Ryan, Logan, and Trevor Sheets; his work family at Mount Carmel Corporate Services Center; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 11:30 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 1pm. Interment will take place at Creston Cemetery in Evans, WV at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J.
