

Gregory Allen Taylor, 50, formerly of New Albany, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2018, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center with his family and friends by his side. Greg was born in Columbus on September 4, 1967 to the late William Allen and Anna Mae (Salisbury) Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Edward Taylor.
Greg is survived by his wife of 27 years, Billie Jo (Washburn) Taylor, and their children Zach (Brianna) Taylor, Jess (Ben) Axsom, and Victoria Taylor; brothers Bill (Linda) Taylor and James (Sharon) Taylor; sister Dianna Taylor; granddaughter Addison Jane Taylor; parents-in-law David and Marilyn Washburn.
Greg was a 1985 graduate of New Albany High School and Eastland Fairfield Career Center. He has worked for PittOhio Express, Inc. for the past 25 years where he was a Driver Trainer with two million accident free miles. He recently received a promotion to Senior Safety Supervisor. He was a devoted Ohio State fan, former deacon at First Baptist Church of New Albany, loved fishing, hunting, camping, and also enjoyed golf.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2017 from 4-7PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in New Albany.
