Mom was an amazing woman. She definitely lived life on her terms. She had the most wonderful heart and sense of humor. Her biggest passion in life was the wonderful game called ‘BINGO’. Through the game of Bingo, she developed a family of other passionate Bingo players. They adored her and treated her with so much love and kindness. They mirrored the same love as she showed to all of them. She carried on her second career in Bingo for 60 years. She had her specific table that she sat at within each bingo hall. No one would ever dare to take her seat. People loved and respected her and even saved her seats so that no one new would sit in them. She won some and lost a lot monetarily, but she gained so much joy in being at her favorite place with her favorite people. That is as often as her budget would allow. It was her haven of enjoyment, excitement, and the thrills of just needing one more number for the Big OnE’! It was her peace, her escape her love. Everyone that met Mom Gretta, loved her instantly. She was so loving, funny, and engaging. Her heart was the size of the universe and her laughter and sense of humor was the greatest treasure of her spirit. She always viewed life in a positive light and never let the negativity enter. She had a confidence that commanded your attention by just the very presence of her being. We nicknamed her ‘Your Majesty’ as she really had all of us kids treating her, including her husband Ron, like royalty. None of us kids inherited that kind of confidence. Her DNA proved she was from royalty as a decedent of Charlemagne and King Richard The III. So there it is. Her Royal Majesty ♥️. Her other nicknames were ‘Turtle’ as she always said how slow she was and was proud of it. She made no excuses. Also , Mamailia , GMa , Grandma and Granule were a few endearing names from her grandchildren.
