

Harlan was a 1954 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln H.S. He served as a Whitehall police officer for 47 years. Harlan was a man with hard work ethics that he carried over to his kids.
He loved watching his grandkids play sports, the outdoors, enjoyed gambling at casinos, camping at Lake Erie and watching football. He also loved spending time with his family during the holidays, especially Christmas.
In addition to his parents, Harlan was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Evan Fisher. Harlan will be missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Jeannette Fisher, children, Roger (Debbie) Fisher, Danny (Rebecca) Fisher, Randy (Patty) Fisher, and Cheri (Craig) Raker; grandchildren, Jason Fisher and his son, Logan, Scott Fisher and his son, Skyler, Tiffany (Joshua) Green and their son, Joah, Amanda (Skyler) Gallimore, Michael Fisher, Chelsea Raker and Cheyenne Raker; sister, Gayle (John) Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, OH.
