

William Harold Loughry, age 73 of Blacklick, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Harold was born in Kingwood, West Virginia and grew up in Columbus, son of the late Virgil and Lula Loughry. Also preceded in death by his children, Judy Werlinger and William Loughry, Jr., and grandson, Rick Crosby. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962 and retired after 31 years from the U.S. Postal Service. Harold was a member of the Reynoldsburg VFW, Eagles, and Moose Lodge and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. He was a very giving man who was always there to help anyone in need. Harold was a true outdoorsman; he loved camping, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved nothing more than watching his grandchildren arrive at his home and come running through the door eager to spend the day together. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet Loughry; children, Teresa Cupp, Tammy (Tony) Cromis, Bob (Kristi) Loughry, and Tony Werlinger; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian (Dan) Radanovich; dear friends, Jim Palsgrove and George Cromis; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, January 13, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-5 P.M. Sunday.
