Harold S. McBride

Harold S. McBride Jr., age 92, of Columbus, passed away on January 28, 2013. He was born to the late Harold S. and Lula McBride on October 23, 1920. Harold was a patriotic, honorable, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an Army Air Corps veteran who served in WWII. Harold worked for Greyhound Bus Company for 10 years before retiring from Lawson Milk Company after 21 years of dedicated service. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed dancing, music, animals, and was an Ohio State fan. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Virginia; children, Bob McBride of Memphis, TN, Patti (Mike) Minister of Worthington, OH, Mike (Linda) McBride of Powell, OH; grandchildren, Scott (April) McBride, Jackie McDermott, Justin McBride, Mark (Brandy) Minister, Andy (Ally) Minister, Ben (Katie) Minister, Adam (Campbell) Minister, Kelsey McBride, Patrick McBride; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles McBride. Friends may call from 1pm-3pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High St., Worthington, where Memorial Service will begin at 3pm.
