Hazel Eileen Coil

Hazel Eileen Coil of Pickerington, went to be with the Lord, October 20, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. Eileen was born on December 15, 1922 in Chester, Ohio, and was the daughter of Ward and Glennie Hayes. She was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1941 and also attended Bliss College. Eileen spent her life in the service of others. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, the Alter Guild, and both the Reynoldsburg and Pickerington Senior Centers. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband, David M. Coil, and sisters, Edna Mae Hayes and Grace Eichensehr. She is survived by niece, Jane (Dave) Spangler of Pickerington, Ohio; nephews, Charles (Lee) Eichensehr of Columbus and Robert Eichensehr of Seattle, Washington; great nieces, Kasey Anne Eichensehr of Springfield, Ohio and Kathi Trethwey of Nevada; brothers-in-law, John J. (Joyce) Coil of San Diego, California and Paul C. (Jean) Coil of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; sister-in-law, Martha J. Edwards of Orient, Ohio; and great nephew, Clifford Edwards and his son, Benjamin of Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, October 22, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service. Pastor Jim Jensen officiating. Contributions may be made to either Epiphany Lutheran Church or Lutheran Social Services.
