Hazel passed away at the Arlington Care Center in Newark, OH, on Thursday, October 29, 2009.
Hazel was born on August 5, 1916 to the late Thomas and Francis (Lightowler) Potts in San Toy, OH. She married the love of her life, the late James C. Miller, in 1940, and has been a resident of Newark for over 63 years.
Along with her parents and her husband, Hazel is also preceded in death by a son, James F. Miller.
Her survivors include her son, Jerry Miller of Heath; grandchildren, Vickie Anderson, and Greg Miller; special nieces, Carolyn Wells of Newark, and Ruth Orr of Malta. She is also survived by several great grand children, and other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville St. Newark, OH.
