Helen E. Carmody

Helen E. (Sforza) Carmody, age 80, previously of Middleburg Hts., Ohio and Dublin, Ohio, and currently of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Helen was born and raised in Girard, Ohio, daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline Sforza. Also preceded in death by her brothers, Enrico, Peter, Angelo, and Dominico Sforza, and sisters, Phyllis Kauffman and Marguerita Julius. Helen graduated from Girard High School, Class of 1950 where she served as Class Secretary and was a member of the National Honors Society. Helen was very loving, kind and generous woman who enjoyed playing bridge, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, James R. Carmody; sons, James and David (Linda) Carmody; granddaughter, Lindsey Carmody; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
