Helen LaVonne Cole, age 91, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. LaVonne was a member of the Beacon Chapter #593 O.E.S. and the Welsh Society of Central Ohio. She was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Franklin County Republican Club. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Cole. She is survived by her niece, Sharon (Randy) Colwell; and good neighbors, Edward Mentel and Marilyn Ocock who enabled her to remain in her home. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at Sunset Cemetery with Pastor Ray Rosenthal officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Pilot Dogs, 625 W.
