Helen Marian Cooke

Helen Marian (Line) Cooke, age 97, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Riverfront Nursing Home in Bradenton, FL. She was born on May 24, 1915 in Rochester, NY, moved to Ohio, & graduated from West High School. She was married for 48 years to the late James F. Cooke, and they resided on the Hilltop in Columbus, Ohio until retiring to Florida. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents Harry and Marian Line, brother Norman Line and infant son Robert. She is survived by sons Donald (Florence) of Virginia Beach, VA and William (Barbara) of Bradenton, FL; 3 grandchildren: Christy (Chase) Nunnally of Virginia Beach, VA, James (Alisha) Cooke of St. Petersburg, FL & Kimberly (Dan) Ostrom of Milton, WA; 8 great-grandchildren: Holden Nunnally of Virginia Beach, VA; Anna, Joshua & Amanda Cooke of St. Petersburg, FL; Kyler Ostrom & Whitney (Dan) Scheibner of Milton, WA; Nick & Danica Ostrom of Auburn, WA; 2 great-great grandchildren: Cooper and Tucker Scheibner of Milton, WA.; 2 nephews Ronald Line (Diane) of Cincinnati, OH and David (Bernadette) Line of Reno, NV. Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on February 7, 2013, at the Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, OH, with Pastors Scott T. Kelso and John E. Jackson officiating. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on February 10, 2013, at Christian Retreat Family Church, 1200 Glory Way Blvd., Bradenton, FL 34212 with Pastor Phil Derstine officiating.
