Helen Frances Croft, age 81, of Columbus, OH passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She was born in Lowmansville, KY, beloved daughter of Joseph and Nancy Allen. Helen retired from Nationwide Insurance. She enjoyed music and dancing, working in her garden and kept her mind sharp by working crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Helen never had children of her own, but was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Princey. She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold “Sonny” Croft and Boyd Lyon; sisters, Elizabeth Nessley and Grace George and brothers, Darwood and James Allen. Family will receive friends 10-11 am Saturday at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229; 11:30 graveside service to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E.
