Helen H. Taylor

Helen H Taylor, age 98, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born on January 9, 1920 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Allen and Annie Hyde. Helen married Frank Taylor on June 15, 1951 and moved to Columbus. She worked at the Ohio National Bank and resided in Upper Arlington. Helen was an active member of Calvary Bible Church and taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and organized the vacation Bible school for the Mission of Trinidad and Tobago. She was a member of the Columbus Dental Auxillary, the Ohio Dental Auxillary and the American Dental Auxillary. She served as President of all three organizations. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Dr Frank Taylor, brothers Allen and James Hyde, sister in law Virginia Taylor and daughter in law Georgia Taylor. She will be greatly missed by her brother Harry (Ena) Hyde, her niece Kelly (Rick) Justice, her sons David B (Cindy) Taylor and Dr Daniel L (Paula) Taylor. Grandchildren Marcia, Jill, Jacqueline, Josh and Jonathan. Great grandchildren Stephanie, Cindy, Olivia, Robbie and Joseph. Family will receive friends 12-1:30 pm Friday June 8, 2018 at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Upper Arlington, where the funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm.
