Helen Louise Wilbanks

Helen L. Wilbanks, 84, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born on July 24, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, Helen was the daughter of Robert and Ruth Justice. Helen had a long and fulfilling career at Sears as a sales clerk, retiring after many years of dedicated service. She was passionate about gardening and enjoyed bowling in her free time. A woman of strong faith, Helen was an active member of her church and found great comfort in her spiritual community. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Justice, and her sister, Karen Ready. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lewis Wilbanks; her children, Mark (Cathi) Bell, Kim (Dan) Townsend, Candice Perkins, Jenny (Bill) Johnson, Konnie (Mike) Nichols, and Lucinda (Brian) Freeman; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers, Bruce and Robert Justice, along with many extended family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for visitation prior to the memorial service in Helen's honor, which will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, located at 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
