Helen Louise Williams

Helen Louise Williams, 75, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020. She was born March 9, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Florence (Allen) Griffith. She was a graduate of Central H.S. and retired from Automatic Data Processing after 21 years of service. She was an awesome mother, grandmother, and friend. Helen loved to work word search puzzles, watch Caleb's Special Hockey Team, travel, and anything to do with her grandkids. She also enjoyed sharing with family about stories from childhood. People will remember her stubbornness, her willingness to help others, her smile and how she was giving, forgiving, and loving. Helen had an ornery side and was remembered to say "at least you will have a tax deduction" when she heard that she was going to be a grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Griffith, Theordore Griffith, Harry Griffith, Ruby Delong, Lilly Wharton, Delores Durham, Della Griffith, and Dicey Griffith. Helen is survived by her children, Mike (Crystal) Williams, Wendy Williams, Lloyd (Joyce) Williams, and Tracy (Tamsy) Williams; beloved grandchildren, Angie (Tony) Hensley, Allen (Tracy) Payne, Caleb Williams, Gracelyn Williams, Zachary Williams, and Zoe Williams; great-grandchildren, Skyler Payne, Makhayla (Jonathon) Ferguson, Preston (Miranda) Poare, Mitchell Payne, and Addison Payne; great-great-grandchildren, Parker Poare, Nevaeh Ferguson, Tanner Poare; sister, Dorothy Curnutte; and many other relatives and friends. In accordance with her wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
