Henry J. "Joe" Morrison, 88, of Columbus, died Friday, September 26, 2014. He was born December 7, 1925 in Redtown, Ohio to the late Charles and Alice (Riley) Morrison. He was a proud retired U. S. Navy WWII veteran. Joe was a longtime member of Columbus Free Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing cards, reading, and puzzles. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Morrison; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters. Family will receive friends from 12-1pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Kermit Welty officiating.
