Henry Davies Webster

Henry Davies Webster passed away April 27, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 1, 1999 in Columbus, Ohio, Henry left this life almost 1 year to the day of being diagnosed with brain cancer. Henry faced the challenges in his life without complaint and with honest affection for everyone he met along the way. He is survived by his parents Bill and Gretchen; sister Kate, brother Tommy, grandparents, nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who are like family. Henry’s family would like to extend the most heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Hospice, without whom, Henry’s journey would have been much more difficult.

Henry was passionate about movies, books, The Ohio State University football, his family and his friends. He was a student at Oakstone Academy and this would have been his 9th season playing Miracle League baseball with the Marlins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7 at 3:30 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church on Capital Square, 125 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Friends and family will continue to celebrate Henry’s life at a reception following the service.

We hope everyone who loves Henry will remember him whenever they see the previews before a movie (he would want you to write them down, so you know what to look forward to next), enjoy strawberry ice cream, see a villain defeated or a Buckeye victory.
