Herbert Neil Scott, 80, of Columbus, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was born January 1, 1935 in Chillicothe to the late Irvin and Nora (Richards) Scott. He was co-owner of Scott Bros. Roofing with his brother Ronald and a member of Southwest Freewill Baptist Church. He was a good, giving, loving husband and an awesome Dad. His passion was his truck "Big Red". He is preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Lynn (Scott) Sliemers. Herbert is survived by Donna (Dillon) Scott his loving wife of 55 years, children John W. (Nona) Scott, Robert W. (Darlene) Scott, Peaches Scott and Mindy Sue (Ken) Robison, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, siblings Ronald L. (Robin) Scott Sr., Patrick S. (Janet) Scott, Nancy Avers and Sandy Hollis. Family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2-4 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
