Hester M. Hewitt, age 69, passed away at home on Friday, April 28, 2023. Hester was born on July 18, 1953 to Rudolph W. and Ella O. “Scottie” Heins. She graduated from Grove City High School in 1971. Hester worked at Augsburg Publishing, Sears Distribution Center and Promark Electronics before retiring. She loved to do arts and crafts of all kinds. She also enjoyed reading, and watching Magnum PI and Blood Bloods which stared Tom Selleck her favorite TV actor. Preceded in death by her husband, James Hewitt and her parents, Rudolph and Scottie Heins. Survived by her daughters, Michelle (Mark) Chaney and Nicole (Jason) Wiseman; grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) New, Shyla (Kollian) Bryant, Courtney (Robbie) Anderson, Jimmy (Ashley) Chaney, Tiffany (Lieza) Wiseman and Jacob; great grandchildren, Kylee, Robbie, Kynzlee, Kayden, Rylan, Everlee, Hope, Rudy and Dakota “Koko”; sister, Jan Hahn and brother, William Heins; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation by Schoedinger Hilltop, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Graveside and interment will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43212.
