Imogene G. Weekly

Imogene Grace Weekly, age 82, of Columbus, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born to the late John and Lilian Smith on September 26, 1930. Imogene was a kind, loving, and gentle soul. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and had a great skill for crafting. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph D. Kearns; second husband, Earl E. Weekly; sons, Joseph W. Kearns, Michael D. Kearns, and George A. Kearns; brothers, David, Robert, and John Smith. She is survived by loving children, Mary A. (Dennis) Nielsen, Nancy M. (Frank) Duff, Earl E. (Mary) Weekly; grandchildren, James K. (Jennie) Wharton, Melinda A. Campbell, and Valerie M. Van horn, Sarah Weekly, Cynthia Weekly, Bryan Weber; great-grandchildren, Wednesday M. Vanhorn, Lilly G. Bryan, Halle R. Wharton, Alexander J. Wharton, Maddox Hilgenberg; extended family and friends. Friends may call from 11 am -1 pm on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm. Pastor Larry McNutt officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn.
