Irene T. Feidner

Irene T. Feidner, age 81, of Upper Arlington passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at First Community Village. Irene was born on May 8, 1930 in Friendship, OH; she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Laura Dyer. Irene was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. She is survived by her loving family, husband of 58 years, Lawrence Feidner; children, Teresa (Dave) May, Robert Feidner, Deborah (Mark) Dumond, Marianne (Richard) Manner and Kathleen (John) Tait; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Holderby, Genevia Frecker, Eileen Pendergast and Alice Keaton; along with many nieces and nephews. Irene retired after 30 dedicated years from Upper Arlington Schools in food services. She was a longtime member of St. Agatha Catholic Church, where she spent time volunteering. Irene was a member of Upper Arlington and Hilliard Senior Centers. Irene will be remembered best for the love and devotion she had for her family. Visitation for Irene will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 5-7pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 1pm at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221; Father Daniel Ochs celebrant.
